Works > Large Sculptural Painting

Michele Foyer creates hybrid works that merge collage, sculpture and painting. Through an idiosyncratic collage process and sensibility, she intricately cuts, tapes, paints, glues and bundles together individual paper pieces to create sculptural paintings. These hybrid works invite viewers to engage with the interplay of painted monochromatic colors and hand-cut shapes which float on luminous fluorescent hues reflected on the wall behind the piece.
